Perry Manuel "Junior" Boyles

-Clyo- Mr. Perry Manuel "Junior" Boyles, Jr., 88, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at his son's residence.

Junior was born in Clyo, GA, on May 31, 1929, to Perry, Sr. and Willa Boyles. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict, P.O.W., and the recipient of a Purple Heart. Junior retired from CSX Railroad, after 39 years of service, as a signal man and attended Mizpah United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Grace Burns Boyles; parents, Perry, Sr. and Willa Boyles; brother, Herman Boyles; and grandchild, Dallas Boyles.

Survivors include: sons, Mitch Boyles (Teresa) of Illinois, Dale Boyles (Donna) of Springfield, Terry Boyles (Patricia) of Clyo and Rev. Gary Boyles (Eleanor) of Port Wentworth; brother, Otis Boyles of Sumpter, SC; sister, Edna Webb of Barney, GA; and 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Sunday, November 12, 2017, from 4 - 6 p.m. Graveside Services with military honors will be held at 1p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2017, in Glennville, GA at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 555 11th Street, NW, Ste 300, Washington, DC 20004.
