Phillip “Tony” Brown, 63, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Tony was born May 4, 1958, in Greensboro, GA. Tony spent his career as a talented upholsterer. In his time off, Tony was always doing one of two things, hunting, or fishing. He just loved being outdoors any chance he had.
Tony will be remembered for being a loving man, having a great since of humor, had a passion for drawing and would give anyone the shirt off his back.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Julie Brown; his brothers, Allen Brown (Lisa) of Claxton, Edward F. Brown of Ellabell, Grady Wool (Cristy) of Moultrie, Ezra Wool (Jayme) of Moultrie, and Billy Smith of Hinesville; sisters, Catherine Hannabass (Ron) of Millen, Tina Carrathuers (Kip) of Moultrie, Connie Brown (Greg) of Moultrie, Karen Salvatore (James) of Atlanta, Kay Herrin of Brooklet, and Cathy Helton (Ron) of Alabama; nephews, Robbie Vaughn (Mary Ann) and Allen Brown, Jr.; niece, Stephanie Wagner (Anthony); and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The burial will follow in Guyton Cemetery.
