Ralph VanBuren Zipperer, 51, died August 22, 2019 at his home unexpectedly.
Ralph was born March 13, 1968 in Savannah, GA to the late Ralph Lawrence Zipperer and Joyce Cribbs Zipperer and lived most of his life in Effingham County. He worked in the concrete business for his entire career. In his free time, Ralph enjoyed spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Ralph is preceded in death by: his sisters, Kay Dennis and Lynn Hamilton.
Survivors include: his son, Ralph VanBuren Zipperer, II (Shawna); and two grandchildren, Layla and Ralph Zipperer, III all of Statesboro, GA. He is also survived by his two brothers, Robert Zipperer and Eric Zipperer.
A funeral service will take place at 11am on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Riggs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will take place at 1pm following the service at Brewton Cemetery in Hagan, GA.
Pallbearers will be: Eric Zipperer, Steven Teigue, Glen Hamilton, Luis Diaz, Chad Embrey, and Roscoe McCullum.
