-Guyton- Mr. Randall “Randy” Eugene Boyles, 67, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021, at Effingham County Hospital after an extended illness.

Randy was born in Savannah, Georgia on February 19, 1954, to John and Louise Boyles. The Effingham County native was a 1973 graduate of Effingham County High School and retired from Alltel Telephone Company. He attended Gethsemane Baptist Church for several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louise Boyles.

Randy will be lovingly missed by his children, Megan Burnsed (Daniel), and Devon Boyles; brother and caretaker, John H. Boyles, Jr.(Beverly); sister, Brenda Royer (John), Dale Baker (Joel); and five grandchildren. He will also be missed greatly by his three special cousins, who were raised by their family, Debra Marvel, Terri Foster, and Tracie Broad; several other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and special friend, Brenda Alford Thomas who was always willing to help out.

Visitation will be held at Carlson and Riggs Funeral Home on Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 10 -11am with graveside services to follow at 11:30am in the Guyton Cemetery.
