Ricardo John Blakely

-Guyton- Mr. Ricardo Blakely, 61, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Blakely was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1977 to 1985 and worked for Enterprise Holdings from 1986 to 2019. He was a member of Pineora Baptist Church for many years. Spending time with his family brought the greatest joy to his life. Ricardo also enjoyed watching sports especially wrestling, drinking a good cup of coffee, listening to music, and being outdoors.

He is preceded in death by: his mother and step-father, Rhea and Jake Ashe.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 38 years, Peggy Blakely; son, John Blakely (Kelly); daughter, Katrina O’Neal; brother, Kelly Ashe; grandchildren, Austin O’Neal(Jocelyn), Dylan O’Neal, John Blakely, Brianna O’Neal, Adam Mayers and Bella Blakely; and great grandchildren, Dante, Justin and Joelle.

Visitation will be held at Pineora Baptist Church on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 6 to 7PM with services to follow at 7PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family request plants that can be planted at his home and can continue to grow in his honor.
