Roberta "Robbie" Walcher Dickey

-Savannah- Mrs. Roberta Walcher Dickey "Robbie", 83, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 13, 2016.

Mrs. Dickey was born in Rincon, Georgia on March 7, 1933 to George and Clyde Walcher. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Salzburger Society, Savannah Chapter DAR,and the Windsor Forest Garden Club. She taught for many years at Savannah High, Clewiston, Strong Elementary and retired from Savannah Christian Middle School.

Mrs. Dickey is preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob" Dickey and her parents.

Survivors include her son, David Dickey(Ginna); 3 granddaughters, Jacquelyn, Michelle and Kaitlyn; and one great granddaughter, Gabbie Garrett.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. at Bible Lutheran Church with funeral service to follow at 11a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 12391 Mercy Blvd. Savannah, Ga. 31419, or Bible Lutheran Church, 812 Blue Jay Rd. Rincon, Ga. 31326.

Interment: Rincon Cemetery.
