Ronald Jay Whited,78, born on September 13, 1946, in Monroe, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Pruitt Health in Savannah, Georgia. He was a dedicated individual who made significant contributions throughout his life, particularly in his long and esteemed career at the Ford Motor Company, from which he retired after many years of loyal service.

Ronald proudly served in the United States Army, having received two purple hearts, he exemplified a commitment to his country that he carried with him throughout his life. His kindness and welcoming nature made him a beloved figure among family, and friends. Ronald was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, embodying a spirit of generosity that touched many lives. One of Ronald's favorite things to do was playing claw machine games and being able to donate his wins to the children’s hospital.

A devoted family man, Ronald treasured the moments spent with loved ones. He found immense joy in simple gatherings, where laughter and warmth filled the air. An avid fan of WWE wrestling, he delighted in watching matches, sharing his enthusiasm with those around him. His passion for family and entertainment brought vibrant energy to gatherings, fostering cherished memories that will last forever.

Ronald's legacy will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, service, and unwavering dedication to family serve as a lasting testament to the remarkable person he was. He will be profoundly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Scott and Anna Whited; son, Thomas; brothers, John and Chuck; and sister, Gertrude. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Debra Whited; sons, Kyle of Nevada, Brad of Michigan, Curt of Michigan, and Chris of Florida; daughters, Carrie (Jeff) of Florida, Felisha of Nevada, and Ariel of Rincon; brother, Norman of Tennessee; sisters, Alice and Betty both of Michigan; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Brandon, Breanna, Kelsey, Wyatt, and Winter-Rae; and great granddaughter, Isabella. Services will be held at a later date.

 Military Honors will be presented at 1pm on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Ronald's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
