Ronald "Ronnie" Royal

Mr. Ronnie R. Royal,76, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at his home under the care of Hospice.

Mr. Ronnie was born in Savannah, Georgia on December 20, 1943 to Ralph and Marion Royal. He was a 1962 Effingham County High School graduate, Veteran serving the United States Air Force, and retired from Union Camp. He enjoyed drag racing and above all spending time with his family.

Survivors include: his children, Ronnie Royal (Becky) of Swainsboro, Michael Royal of Sylvania, and Sandra Royal Maddox (Billy) of Ellabell; grandchildren, Koty Royal, Nicholas Webb, Dylan Royal, Samantha Collins, Bradley Webb, Allen Royal, Hedi Royal, Hazel Royal, Haley Royal, Bennie Royal, Melissa Royal, and Mike Royal, Jr.; brother, Billy Royal (Shirley) of Egypt; and sister, Kay Bowers of North Georgia.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Elam Egypt Baptist Church on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 10am-12pm with funeral service to follow at 12pm. Interment will be held in the Foy Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joe Stegin, Dwayne Walker, Shawn Hall, William Taylor, Jimmy Pye, and Lynn Wardlaw.
