Roy Herbert Ambrose

Roy H. Ambrose, 61, passed away February 24, 2019 at his residence.

Roy was born in Jacksonville, FL on August 1, 1957 to the late William Herbert Ambrose and Carrie Wilkes Ambrose. He found his residence in Effingham County in the early 2000’s.

Roy was an active member at New Hope Christian Church in Guyton.

In his free time, he enjoyed going and spending time at Effingham Hospital, checking in on everyone and socializing with the staff. His true passion was for his western movies, NASCAR and wrestling.

Roy is survived by all his loving friends and church family.

A memorial service will take place at a later date and will be announced by Riggs Funeral Home and New Hope Christian Church.
