Roy B. Ashley, Sr.

-Guyton- Mr. Roy Binion Ashley, Sr.,84, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 23, 2019.

Mr. Roy was born and raised in McDuffie County but made Guyton his home for the last 40+ years. He was a  loving father, adoring grandfather, and cheerful friend to many.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley “Ann” Ashley.

Survivors include: his son and daughter-in-law, Roy Jr. and Memory Ashley of Guyton; grandchildren, Kerrigan Ashley and Roy Ashley III both of Guyton; sister, Carolyn Johnson of Augusta; and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 10AM – 11AM on Friday, September 27, 2019, at Guyton United Methodist Church with funeral services to follow at 11AM. Interment will be held in the Guyton Cemetery.
