Sam Adam Morgan, Sr., 42, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 15, 1982, Sam's life was marked by warmth, joy, and a deep commitment to those around him. He was a proud graduate of Effingham County High School and dedicated his career to The McGraley Company.
Sam was known for his very social personality, always engaging with others and making connections wherever he went. His interests included hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He cherished gatherings with family and friends. His vital role at the Morgan Hunt Club was a testament to his love for the outdoors and desire to share that passion with those closest to him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Carolyn Morgan, and his uncle, Charlie Morgan.
Sam is survived by his devoted wife, Chelsea Morgan; children, Lily, Sam Jr., Jasmine, Violet, and Renea; father, Steve Morgan; sister, Mariann Conley; brother, Rubin Morgan, and nieces, Amy Conley and Kinsley Morgan. Additionally, several other family members and close friends will remember Sam fondly, always carrying forward the memories of his laughter and love.
To honor and celebrate Sam’s life, visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM, both taking place at Silver Hill Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
