Shirley Ann Causey,82, born on June 3, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Memorial Hospital.
Shirley was a devoted member of the Rincon Global Methodist Church, where her dedication was evident over the course of 27 years, as she never missed a Sunday service. Her faith and commitment to her church community were paramount to her, and she inspired many with her unwavering spirit.
Throughout her life, Shirley embraced a variety of hobbies and interests that reflected her creative nature. She had a passion for crafting and crocheting, where she poured her heart into each piece she created. Her enjoyment of playing cards brought joy not only to herself but also to those who shared a table with her. Above all, Shirley adored spending time with her loving family and wonderful friends.
Shirley Ann Causey will be remembered for all the warmth and laughter she brought into the lives of those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Survivors include: her loving husband of 67 years, Francis Ray Causey; sons, Matt Causey of Guyton, Derril Causey (Lori) of Rincon; and Darian Causey (Nicole) of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Bobby Mathews of California; grandchildren, Skyler, Macon, Sailor, Scout, Drayton, Brianna, Brittany and Dylan; best friend, Marie May of Guyton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at Rincon Global Methodist Church on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 2pm.
