Teresa Lynn Edelman

Teresa Lynn Edelman,57, affectionately known as "Momma the Great," left this world on Saturday, January 18, 2025, just days shy of her 58th birthday. Born on January 21, 1967, in New Port Richey, Florida, Teresa's life was a testament to love, kindness, and hard work, with an unwavering spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her. 

Throughout her life, Teresa was known for her hardworking nature and her heart of gold. A lover of animals and nature, Teresa always found joy in the beauty that surrounded her. In her free time, she enjoyed getting her nails done and shopping, but her greatest joy was undoubtedly her beloved grandbabies. Spending time with them brought light to her life and created cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of her family. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Pendergrass; and mother, Patricia “Nanny” Vaughan. 

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Edelman; sons, Devin Pendergrass (Brittany) of Guyton, Adam Pendergrass of New Port Richey, FL, and Cameron Susa of Panama, FL; daughter, Brittany Pendergrass of Hudson, FL; brothers, Bobby Pendergrass of Brunswick, and Curtis Pendergrass of Hudson, FL; sisters, Sheryl Hicks of Hudson, FL, and Karen Cowell of Kentucky ; grandchildren: Joseph Pendergrass, Janica Pendergrass, Nevaeh Cothron, Faith Russell, Kayleigh Pendergrass, Rosie Pendergrass, and Odin Pendergrass; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
