Terry Lynn Powers

Terry Lynn Powers, 54, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Mr. Terry was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts on March 4, 1969, and lived in Effingham County for a number of years. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, and working on cars. Above all, Terry loved spending time with his loving family. Terry will be remembered as a loving and caring man who would help anyone and everyone.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Shannon Rush; and sister, Teresa Hartle.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 23 years, Rose Powers; daughters, Samantha Powers Davis (Brian) of Beaufort and Terri Powers of Guyton; stepson, Damien Porter of Guyton; mother, Romona Powers-Perkins of Texas; father, Terry Rush of Kansas; stepfather, Rick Hartle of Montana; brother, Chris Rush; and sisters, Christina Marroquin, and Melissa Rush.

A visitation will be held at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from 5- 7pm.
