Theresa Renee Lewis

Theresa Renee Lewis,53, passed away at Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

Theresa was born in Millen, Georgia on June 18, 1967 to Emory and Gail Lewis, Sr. She was a member of Maranatha Family Church, where she enjoyed singing, and spending time helping in the children’s classes. The greatest fulfillment in Theresa’s life was spending time with her mom, which occurred on a daily basis.

She is preceded in death by her father, Emory Lewis, Sr.

Survivors include: her mother, Gail Lewis of Rincon; brother, Emory Lewis, Jr. of Pooler; sister, Deborah McMillon (Richard) of Las Vegas; nephews, Alex McMillon and Mason Lewis; niece, Moriah Lewis; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation for friends and family will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Sunday, August 16, 2020, from 2 – 4pm. Funeral services will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 10a.m. with burial to follow in the Springfield Annex.

Social distancing guidelines and CDC guidelines will be in place and will limit the number of people in the building at any time. Mask are not required but highly recommended.
