Tommy Lee Dawes

Tommy Lee Dawes passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, in Charlotte, NC at Harris Hospice Novant Medical Center.

Tommy was born March 7, 1971, in Randolph County, NC. He moved to Savannah when he was 6 years old where he resided until he moved to Bluffton, SC over 10 years ago.

Tommy loved to cook and was great at it. He was the owner of Santino's Pizza in 1992 to 2003 before entering in the electrical field as an electrician. He was an avid Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldog fan.

Tommy is predeceased by his grandfather, Russell Dawes Sr., and grandparents, John Martin and Eloise Tyler.

He is survived by his children; daughter, Madison Dawes; son, Jackson Dawes; father, Russell Dawes, Jr.; and mother, Vickie Martin; grandmother, Julia Marie Dawes; sisters, Tony (Dwayne) Miller, and Stacy (Shane Sr.) Gordon; nephews and nieces, Shane Jr. (Riley), Seth, Sage and Dorie, and a great niece and nephew; Raylyn, and Colton Gordon; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tommy will be dearly missed by us all.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home.
