Vera Mae (Granny) Hall Bohannon, age 88, ofi�½i�½Rincon GA,i�½i�½went to be with her Saviour on September 4, 2015. She was born in Allendale, South Carolina, August 23, 1927, to Mr. and Mrs. Med (Pappy) and Vera Wasden Hall. She was the oldest of six children. She was married to the late James G. (Jimmy) Bohannon. Mrs. Bohannon was a homemaker, quilter and artist and she was known as the "Flower Lady" of Rincon. She was a member of Nondenominational Church. She is survived by her children, Patricia B. Hall, Olivia Bohannon, Vicky B. (Mario) Martinez, Wanda Miller, Selma (Bob) Bernard, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren and siblings Walton Hall, William (Myrtle) Hall, Howard (Linda) Hall, brother-in-law, Ronald Salmon, sisters-in-law, Patricia Hall, and Lyda Bohannon. She was preceded in death by her sister, Miriam Salmon, her brother, Chaudoin Hall and her sister-in-law, Betty Jean Hall. Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Sunday, September 6, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 7, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Riggs Funeral Home with interment to follow at Springfield Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends after the services at Church of Christ, Rincon, GA.
