William David Tippett

William David Tippett Jr., 57, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020, at his sister’s residence.

He was born on July 23, 1962 in Savannah, GA and lived in the Effingham County area for many years.

David enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and spending time with his family. He attended Effingham County Schools and later became a carpenter by trade working in Coastal Georgia and South Carolina.

David is preceded in death by: his parents, William David Tippett Sr. and Anna Margaret Hollingsworth.

Surviving are his children, Roxanne Tippett, Brandon Tippett (Sabrina), and Matthew Tippett (Lauren); sisters and brothers Teresa Moore, Becky Cintron, Joey Tippett (Peggy), Dena Tippett, Timmy Tippett; stepbrothers and stepsister Tipp, Dee, Cindi Tippett; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and four grandchildren who he loved dearly.

The memorial service has been postponed and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
