William "Bill" D. Pettigrew

Mr. William Pettigrew, 65, passed away February 5, 2020 at Chandler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.

Mr. Bill was born on March 13, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas, moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida, during his teen years, then to Daytona Beach for several years. He made Rincon, Georgia his home in 2003 and resided there until he went home to be with the Lord.

He loved bass fishing in Florida and car racing. His favorite car was the GTO, also known as, “The Judge”. He had the pleasure of owning several though the years. He was a self-owner operator  of OMC Construction Company. He was mostly known for vinyl siding and screen rooms through OMC. He could build or remodel homes from the ground up.

He is proceeded by his parents Vicki and William Pettigrew, aunts, uncles, and two sisters.

Survived by his wife, JoAnne Pettigrew; daughter, Jessica Pettigrew; sons, Billy, Matthew, and Dylan Pettigrew; granddaughter, Lillie; brother, Jimmy Pettigrew of Florida; several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and loving aunts from Texas and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020, from 12 Noon - 4pm at 208 Wisenbaker Road, Rincon, GA. If you are unable to make the event, you can also send your condolences on the groups page or message the family personally through the page.

His wife and children would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Chandler ICU for all the care, service, and love that they shared not only towards Mr. William but towards the family as well. They feel truly blessed and thankful for everyone who has impacted William over the years.
