Albert George Barnhill

Albert George Barnhill, 84, passed away peacefully at his home in Rincon on Monday, May 22, 2023.

Mr. George was born in Santa Monica, CA on April 23, 1939, to the late William and Marian Barnhill.  He joined the Air Force and was transferred to Hunter Army Airfield. It was then that he met the sweetest and most beautiful girl, in Savannah, Geraldine Lear. They were married and had two children, George and Sharon, which they raised in Rincon. George was retired from the United States Postal Service and attended Maranatha Family Church.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Geri Barnhill; and parents, William and Marian Barnhill.

Survivors include: his children, George Barnhill, and Sharon Anderson (Ellis); sister-in-law, Shirley Fail (Ricky);four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will held at 11am on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Maranatha Family Church, 454 Wisenbaker Road, Rincon, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations by made in Mr. George’s memory to Maranatha Family Church, as they have a great support for the mission field.
